240SX Throttle Body Spacer Kit

This kit is designed to fit a stock 60mm 240SX Throttle Body on Datsun L-series fuel injected engines (L28 & L24E).  It comes with all gaskets, bolts, and washers required to complete the swap.

The new throttle body will offer a 44% increase in cross-sectional area reducing restriction in the engine intake setup.  The intake must be ported for this modification to have any benefit.  The 60mm throttle body mounted on a non-ported 50mm hole should actually flow LESS air than just the stock 50mm throttle body.  So, make sure to port the intake!  I will post power increase data this summer.

The die used to thread the shaft on a Top Cooled 240SX Throttle Body can be borrowed here for a $10 refundable charge:

Installation:
Modify the 240SX TB Linkage
Port match the intake
Mount TB to intake

*Note: does not fit 2 throat throttle body mount (on some later 280ZXT engines).

L28 engine in the Datsun 280Z, 280ZX, 280ZXT
L24E engine in the 81-84 Nissan Maxima
